Strength Isn’t Always
About More Effort
Hi !
As we transition from the tail end of the fall (west in the Native American Medicine Wheel) to the winter (north), it's a great time to reflect on what happened in your life over the past three months.
The west is a fantastic season to focus on intention, and to bring what you
want in life and in order to do that, you have to make room in your life by letting go of certain energies.
That can be anything from actual items, or finally accomplishing tasks in your house, to working on or even ending relationships.
Letting go can also include judgments of yourself and others, and your belief system, which leads to what you say and do.
The more you are aware of the energy of the seasons, the more you can work with them and use them to your benefit.
Soon we step into the north, which contains an energy of action.
Once you clear yourself of certain energy leaks (west energy), then it's time to move into a more powerful version of your previous self.
However, it's important to focus on taking action with certain things in an effortless way.
Personal disclosure- this is something I am currently very focused on for myself.
For so many years my personality convinced me to take charge and to be assertive, but through a lens of fear.
That led to stress of not accomplishing, not having enough, and missing out on opportunities.
It led to a major internal struggle that I was not even aware of.
I handled the stress of providing as a father, partner, and performing as an entrepreneur and coach by "relaxing" with alcohol, sugar, and other distractions.
I burned myself out trying to prevent burnout.
Luckily, I finally listened to my body and stopped drinking alcohol, and that led me on the path to shift everything for the better in my life.
Hiring a team of practitioners was immensely important to me, as well as setting my personal north star to be more empowered and a better father, partner, friend, coach, and overall human being.
The result has been taking action more
effortlessly....
To flow with what life brings in a balanced way.
It's much easier to do when you learn to master your nervous system instead of doing things to destabilize
it.
I'm starting the new year off to help fathers do the same.
Take a look at my latest group program, January Jumpstart, to see if it calls you.
Until then, happy Winter Solstice and Merry all the things.
You are awesome and are more powerful than you know.
