How to handle the unknown in your life
Hi !
Happy Spring to you!
As you might be aware, I send out a newsletter whenever there is a change in the season since each period has it's own medicine, which you can use to navigate the flow of your life more smoothly.
Spring, also the direction of the east in the Medicine Wheel, is all
about the void- endless possibilities with the unknown of what is going to happen in aspects of your life.
If you follow what the plants do during this time, you can see new buds starting and full blooms will follow.
I always find an anticipation of what each plant will look like after the winter fall shedding and the winter slumber each goes through in it's own way.
I ask myself, "Did I tend to this bush enough, trim it properly, give it enough water?"
The anticipation is enjoyable, however, it's much less stressful than taking a look at your own world.
As mentioned, the east is about the void....the unknown.
You might feel this sort of up in the air sensation already about certain aspects of your life, maybe professionally, in a relationship, or some other transition you are going through.
Each season has a positive pole and a negative
one.
You have a choice how to deal with it.
The negative of spring is chaos.
With what is unknown, unformed, and has endless possibilities, it is easy to get caught up in fear.
You can worry and stress about what is or what is not going to happen at any time in your life, and it might feel much more enhanced during this
season.
It is a good test of where you are within yourself with your need to control situations that you cannot control.
If you surrender to whatever possibilities are,
you will find yourself in the positive pole of PEACE.
Being at peace with whatever will happen will likely open more doors for the universe to work for you.
In order to
do that, it is crucial to trust fully in that power.
This does not mean simply sit on the couch and wait for opportunities to knock on your door, or show up in your inbox.
Sometimes that does happen.
More often than not, you do have to make moves and choices.
The true power is finding the balance of doing and
allowing.
If you listen and are patient and ask, the universe will do a lot of the work for you.
A big key is to focus on what is directly in front of you and
not look too far ahead into the future.
Concentrate on one step at a time and trust that everything will fall into place at the right time, whether it is in the spring or another season.
I don't typically share too much about my personal life but feel called to give you an example:
I am moving to Costa Rica at the end of July and bought land in a community up in a sacred valley in the mountains and started designing my house.
A couple weeks ago, things shifted tremendously and I will no longer be there, but instead will be in a different part of the country.
I could have freaked out since I purchased land and paid a design team for my house.
Maybe I would have hit the panic button at a different time in my life.
I pray to spirit and my guides every day to keep me on the "Golden Line" and find the best place for me and my son
and his mom.
I feel at peace with this move and know it is best, even though there are real life things to deal with as far as selling the land.
There's a lot unknown
(the void) still but know the power of this season and what it brings.
Trust and surrender are keys to the east.
You have a choice- peace or
chaos.
You also have spirit guides that are just waiting to help you, no matter how big or small your issues might feel to you.
All you need to do is to genuinely and humbly ask
them.
Oh, and I'm here for you as well if you ever need.
Happy Spring Equinox to you and your loved ones.
