Using the power of the spring
Hi !
It's spring time in the northern hemisphere.
Most people look at the changing of the seasons as something that is just for the Earth...and maybe your allergies.
It's more than that though! You are after all part of nature just like all the amazing and powerful plants!
Your physical body is not the only part of you that reacts to the springtime; all other parts of your being does as well- your emotional & spiritual side, as well as how your life unfolds.
The other "parts" of you respond unconsciously, or without awareness, until you have some sort of insight about what happens or you happen to read a newsletter of a mailing list you belong to ;-)
After realizing this and believing in it, you can start to consciously use the energy of the seasons to your advantage and apply the parallels to your life.
Spring is of course the time when plants and flowers start to bloom.
People plant seeds in their gardens and start to clean up their environment (indoor and out) after the dark and cold of the winter.
It is a time of newness.
You might perhaps feel a bustling new energy and have desire to accomplish certain goals.
What I tell people I work with about goals is that they're great and it's important to hold them loosely.
Plant the seeds of your goals and focus on watering and nurturing and place your trust in the universe to allow them to bloom.
When you want something so badly, your life can become chaotic because your ego often takes over your desire.
Fear of not accomplishing whatever it is you want often accompanies your desires...it sneaks up on you.
Even if you don't have any set goals, fear of the unknown can be prevalent, whether it's in your personal or professional life or in the political and social world in which you live.
Throughout your life you either choose to live from fear or love...there are no other options.
When you can enter the spring, the void, the unknown, with peace and trust, your season will blossom beautifully and often in even greater ways than you originally desired.
Look at your goals and set them aside and focus more on doing what it takes to accomplish them instead of the outcome.
The end result of your goal is in the future and the day to day action is the present.
Set intention each morning on how you want to feel during your day and spend a few seconds REALLY feeling that sensation.
Eliminate or greatly reduce distractions that get in the way of you bettering yourself- electronics, media, negativity etc. and ask yourself frequently, "Is what I'm doing right now serving me and the highest version of myself?"
"Am I living in peace and trust during this season or are my chaotic and fear based thoughts more active than they need to be?"
Do your best to let go of outcome and how you think things should be and when you want them to happen and put your full trust in the universe.
Try new things during your spring experience. Shake up your normal routine, whatever it is- driving a different way to work, practice, cleaning your environment more often, etc.
I'd love to hear how your spring is going and unfolding for you!
Feel free to reach out anytime.
Much love and Pura Vida!
